**The Opportunity**:
As the Manager of Operational Effectiveness at Astellas, you will play a pivotal role in defining, monitoring, and analyzing performance indicators for the subsidiary to enhance strategic planning capacity. Your primary focus will be on seamlessly integrating strategic planning with tactical execution to drive performance and operational excellence within the subsidiary.

You will proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure compliance with ethical standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will represent the subsidiary in regional forums and lead cross-functional initiatives. Proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies, along with a strategic orientation and customer-centric mindset, will be key to your success. A solid background in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in roles that combine technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, is crucial for this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use created EMEA processes to collect and analyze multidimensional customer data.
- Ensure efficient resource deployment through robust sales force sizing and territory allocation processes.
- Create and implement Operational Effectiveness policies/processes, including segmentation, targeting, territory and key account activity planning, performance objectives, and other commercial processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of new channels at the subsidiary level.
- Ensure the integrity of data entered into solutions to generate reliable and relevant insights that facilitate strategic decision-making.

**Essential Knowledge & Experience**:

- Strong strategic and customer orientation: ability to anticipate needs and drive business activities.
- Proficiency in using and managing Veeva (via SalesForce) and other BI tools (e.g., QlikSense). Knowledge and ability to use IQVIA and GERS Data.
- Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, as well as sales databases.
- Mastery of SFE methodologies and concepts, performance measurement systems (Incentive schemes), KPI measurement, and the definition of commercial action plans’ structure.
- Fluent in English and French.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Proven experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical company.
- Experience in ensuring training needs are met, providing training, mentoring, and support to local users, and improving their capabilities on critical commercial solutions.
- Field readiness to actively participate in commercial seminars and regional EMEA business solutions meetings.
- Experience in creating short-term and long-term business solutions roadmaps, integrating subsidiary needs, and collaborating with the EMEA Business Solutions community.

**Education**:

- Master’s degree, PharmD; or equivalent
