We are looking for our future **Embedded Hardware Development Team Leader (M/F/d)** for our internal start-up Hager next, dedicated to technological exploration and anticipation. The position is based in Obernai.
**Your missions**
Within our internal start-up Hager next, you will be responsible for developing the electronic boards for our future products and electrical protection systems. You will be part of an enthusiastic team and will contribute to the following activities:
- Management
- Leading and managing a small hardware development team
- Identifying and managing external resources- Specification
- Analysis of marketing specifications
- Participation in writing the product specification
- Drafting of design documentation (hardware architecture, technical files)- Development
- Design of electronic diagrams
- Monitoring routing
- Discussions with the PCBA industrialisation teams- Testing
- Carrying out tests and validating boards
- Support for the software development team and laboratory teams**Your profile**
With an engineering degree or a Master's in embedded electronics, with at least a first significant experience in embedded development with major environmental constraints (real time, limited hardware resources).
- Required knowledge:
- Analog and digital electronics
- Hardware design of electronic boards
- Product architecture based on 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g. ARM Cortex-M)
- AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies
- Networks and field buses (e.g. Ethernet, Modbus, RS485)
- Practical knowledge of EMC standards and testing
- Knowledge of RF design, standards and testing
- Experience of industrialising and testing electronic boards in a large-scale production environment would be a plus
- Use of electronic laboratory measurement equipments
- Reading and writing documentation in English. Curiosity and the ability to make suggestions when drafting documentation is a required skill.
You have a good level of English (B2 minimum) in a professional environment. German is a plus.
You enjoy technical challenges and you're not afraid to start from scratch.
You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and are able to work collaboratively in a constantly changing environment.
Recognised for your leadership and your rigor, you have also strong analytical, synthesis and communication skills.
Your sense of initiative, team spirit and autonomy will be your best assets to succeed in your mission.
