**Description du sujet**:

Top cell absorber stability and interfaces with charge transport layers (CTL) in tandems is critical. This research will undertake studies on the transport properties of CTLs, and recombination in absorber/CTL stacks. This uses a CEA/DTS lab in-house Transfer Length Method (TLM) tool under illumination and at elevated temperatures and specific sample preparation to measure lateral conduction in layer of Perovskite cells on silicon. Similar test structures will be devised in order to correlate TLM data with Hall, photo Hall at GEEPS to assess carrier concentrations and mobilities for a broad range of absorber/CTL combinations. These measurements will be carried out over a wide range of temperature to determine the variation of the electronic properties and devise more precise transport and degradation models. In collaboration with Laboratoire des Solides Irradiés (UMR 7642) lab (Pr Luca Perfetti, Ecole Polytechnique), samples will be irradiated with under THz, this experiment yields an effective conductivity fitted with a Drude model considering the full stack of materials and can be compared to the Hall measurements. Beyond, the electrical measurements, we aim to develop a new fast modulated photoluminescence technique (fast MPL) to probe fast recombination mechanisms and determine the effective minority carrier lifetime. This approach will permit the investigation of perovskite materials that are much faster to recombine that PV grade substrate and films.
