Logistics and Merchandising Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Logistics and Merchandising Associate to become a vital part of our team. This role encompasses a variety of logistics functions, including the reception, storage, preparation, distribution, and management of merchandise returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport materials and products either manually or using specialized lifting equipment.
- Choose and prepare the most appropriate handling tools.
- Adhere to safety standards, internal protocols, storage practices, and maintain cleanliness in workspaces.
- Examine loads for any discrepancies and report findings to the appropriate department.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members and external partners.
- Assist in the arrangement of displays, shelves, and racks, ensuring they are well-kept for sales.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of the logistics, receiving, and merchandising division.
- Support other warehouse departments as required.
Specific Duties Related to Merchandising:
- Arrange merchandise in the warehouse according to merchandising standards.
- Restock items based on priority, including retrieving products from elevated shelves or incoming stock.
- Ensure correct product placement and presentation.
- Review and adjust product displays as necessary.
- Prepare and load pallets for restocking, adhering to packaging and storage protocols.
- Assist members with loading and provide guidance for larger items.
- Support additional merchandising tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will exhibit precision in managing merchandise, optimizing space utilization, and adhering to deadlines.
