JOB DESCRIPTION:
Profession as Marketing Assistant within the team of Tourism Malaysia Office in Paris and will promote the destination Malaysia and conduct tourism related marketing activities with special concentration on social media promotion, marketing intelligence and other promotional activities in promoting Malaysia especially to the French, Spanish, and Portugal segment.

MAIN MISSIONS:
Under the direction of the Director of the Tourism Malaysia Office in France

1. Assist in recommending, planning and execution of marketing promotional activities based on budget allocated by HQ.

2. Assist in the execution of relevant marketing activities/events for promotion of Malaysia such as sales mission, exhibitions, fairs, roadshows, travel mart or seminars and others

3. Handling our Public Relation activities in terms of preparing and collaborating for effective press and advertising campaign in promoting Malaysia as a preferred holiday destination for the French, Spain and Portugal segment.

4. Manage and develop the social media platforms of Tourism Malaysia Office in France, Spain dan Italy with recommended strategies and action plans. Updating the of the platforms is required as well.

5. Organise and participate in the trade fairs/workshops and general public concerned

6. Maintain good networking relationship with tourism partners in France, Spain and Portugal especially the outbound tourism players selling Malaysia

7. Develop and consolidate the Tourism Malaysia relations with professionals (tour operators, travel agencies, trade unions and etc);
8. Marketing Intelligence inputs and information, maintain and develop database for the office through newsletters and e-marketing

9. Execute and monitor offline and online communications and advertising

10. Respond to requests from tourism professionals and put them in touch with the corresponding Malaysia tourism service providers.

PROFILE:

- Hold a Bachelor Degree in Tourism/Marketing or equivalent with minimum of 2-3 year experience in a similar function in the tourism sector.
- Organized, rigorous, possess a true sense of organization, creative and proactive, positive and voluntary attitude are the qualities required for this position.
- Have great writing skills and oral fluency (presentation of the destinations to an international audience) in French and English. Able to speak and write in Spanish is a plus quality.
- Master the use of computer tools (Microsoft Office Pack - word, excel, PowerPoint, publisher and etc), knowledgeable in the notions of web marketing and social media.
- Good personality and able to work independently.

CONDITIONS OF THE POSITION:

- Based at Tourism Malaysia Office in Paris, able to travel around France, and occasionally to Malaysia and other international destinations required
- Able to work on certain weekends, hour till night time especially during participation in fairs, workshops or familiarizations trips, other internal events, Headquarter's activities and networking in connection to marketing promotional activities. Additional days and hours will be covered accordingly, based of terms and condition.
- Salary is according to profile and experience.
- Availability to commence working immediately
