- Presentation of the department and its missions:
The Public Affairs department at Pernod Ricard's head office is the Group’s interface with the French public authorities, foreign country representatives in France, the OECD, and various professional organisations. It works with government departments on laws and regulations in force and under discussion and major international regulatory trends in the wine and spirits industry. The department also oversees training and compliance with Pernod Ricard’s Code of Commercial Communications, including the operation of the Responsible Marketing Panel, a self-regulatory committee, to ensure that Pernod Ricard’s global commercial communications meet the highest ethical standards. It works on this in close collaboration with other departments at HQ, including IT, sustainability and responsibility, & marketing, as well as marketing and legal departments in Pernod Ricard’s affiliates.
Job purpose: To assist the Responsible Marketing and Sales Director with the following tasks:
Roles and responsibilities:
- Mission 1 : Support the management of the Code for Commercial Communications, including sustainability claims
- Mission 2 : Compile reports on Pernod Ricard's digital responsible marketing commitments in particular, the prevention of minors from viewing of our brands' advertising
- Mission 3 : Support Responsible Marketing Panel training courses
- Mission 4 : Handling of various internal requests (including presentations, briefing notes, work with internal and external consultants on )
Competences:
- Values: Understanding of the importance of corporate ethics & self-regulation
- Skills and references: strong analytical skills, excellent writing skills, knowledge of French / European / international institutions, interest in international relations,
- Personal skills: initiative, self-confidence
- Skills and tools: Microsoft Office and in particular Excel and PowerPoint, strong understanding of digital, data and social networks
Profile required:
- Initial training required: Business School, Institute of Political Studies, University level Master 2
- Languages required: English (Fluent)
