We are currently looking for an International Legal Counsel to join our Forvis Mazars Group Legal department. The position is based in Paris, France

Reporting to the Forvis Mazars Group Head of Legal, the International Legal Counsel will deal with:

- Management of the group institutional agreements, membership documents and global legal framework;
- Legal advice to the governing bodies for general activities at group, partnership and operational levels;
- Draft and follow up of global contracts (multi-entity, multi-activity, multi-jurisdictional) in the fields of Information and Communications Technology Law;
- Draft and follow up of general agreements signed by group departments (service, license contracts, confidentiality, loan and offset agreements, guaranties);
- Management of group Intellectual Property Rights and prevention of fraudulent use of the brand name and trademark;
- Legal assistance for the firm’s expansion and merger projects (legal due diligence, drafting agreements, coordination with external advisors);
- Support and follow up on litigation matters related to the group activities;
- Global monitoring of litigation cases defended by the member firms worldwide (twice a year);
- Structure and standardize legal documentation;
- Draft and update group policies on different fields (human rights, anti-bribery, use of social media) in coordination with Risk team;
- Standardization of multi-country service agreements signed with clients and follow-up of the member firms’ compliance with the global framework.

**Qualifications**
- A legal professional qualified under French or Belgian law with background and training in commercial contracts, “digital” offerings and software licensing;
- Confirmed professional experience (approx. 5 years) acquired in the legal department of an international association/company or international law firm;
- Perfectly fluent in English and ideally French. All additional languages are considered a significant plus;
- International background is highly valued;
- Teamwork and ability to coordinate with junior colleagues;
- Strong business acumen and client service;
- Excellent listening and people skills;
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, capacity of working with different fields of law, autonomous, self-starter, rigorous and results-oriented;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to convey ideas and positions clearly.
