We are exclusively representing a leading global luxury brand supporting their search for a brilliant Stock Controller to join their store in Avenue Montaigne - Paris’ iconic luxury shopping destination.
Our client embodies a complete luxury accessories brand, shoes being at the core of their offering. Products can be seen on countless style icons from celebrities to royalty, musicians to heads of state. Our client has a global store network encompassing more than 200 stores and is present in the most prestigious shopping destinations worldwide.
As Stock Controller, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects relating to stock control within the boutique. You are enthusiastic, confident, and motivated, and you’ll go the extra mile to achieve targets, maintaining professionalism and discretion under all circumstances.
The Role:
- Organizing stock on shelves and maintaining a clean and neat stockroom.
- Transferring or removing, if necessary, boxes from stockroom to stockroom.
- Receiving deliveries and ensuring that the stock delivered matches supporting documentation, reporting discrepancies to Store Manager.
- Maintain effective stockroom controls to ensure continued stock supply and stock record accuracy.
- Take a proactive role in ensuring that the quality of your own work conforms to any standards defined by the company.
- Managing In and Out stock transfers.
- Supporting Store Stock Controller with the weekly reconciliation of unverified transfers and negatives reports sent by Head Office.
- Performing cycle counts.
- Supporting faulty stock process.
- Communicating any stock issues to Store Manager and proactively helping to find solutions.
- Required to participate in stocktakes.
- Required to participate in-store events.
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with wider store team.
About You:
- Demonstrable experience as a Stock Controller with a recognised brand.
- Luxury brand experience in a retail environment preferable.
- SAP knowledge and experience strongly desired.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Fluent English and French.
- Successfully handles multiple demands and competing priorities.
- Seeks opportunities to be proactive.
- Proven ability to drive and maintain exceptional operational standards.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
- Working effectively within a team.
- Computer literacy, especially Excel.
