**Performance and Yield Assessment Manager**
Renewables Global Business Unit (R-GBU) is supporting the Group to accelerate Renewables (RES) asset development with an EBIT around €1.1Bn. We count 4,000 employees and more than 50 nationalities across 20 countries. With an installed capacity of 32 GW across 4 Operational Areas, R-GBU manages a diversified portfolio of assets including Solar (3.5 GW), Wind (10.9 GW) and Hydro (17.7 GW) assets. Our ambition is to multiply by 2.6 our installed capacity with 80 GW in 2030.
**Purpose of the job**:
Provide leadership, guidance and support directly and through the team on renewables plans (Solar, Wind, and Hybrid included with BESS) matters to:
(a) Business Development teams at R-GBU HQ and operational areas related to Energy Resource Assessment, Yield Assessment, Plant configuration, layout and design, equipment selection, and optimization of cost and performance (LCOE, lifetime cost of ownership);
(b) Performance analysis of renewable assets in operation, by providing the necessary inputs and reviews related to Performance Test requirements in contracts
(c) Maintain the necessary information on performance of plant and equipment from different OEMs, service providers and technical consultants keeping abreast of developments within the market.
(d) Estimation of the financial risk for ENGIE linked to an underperformance of an asset
(e) Contribution to peer reviews and project reviews
(f) Group’s and department communication tools mastery and REX related to performance topics.
(g) Participation to the improvement of digital tools related to performance;
(h) Active inputs into ENGIE initiatives on performance
(i) Participation in training of department teams and regions’ staff

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Watch and assess innovations, product and market developments and best practices related to Wind and/or Solar Technologies. Contribute in the digitalization and standardization of the performance management.
- Become a reference Expert in term of performance of renewable assets including hybrid plants within the RGBU by mitigating R-GBU’s exposure due to under-performance of new plants and contributing in the implementation of ENGIE governance, policies, and KPIs.
- Develop, input into & drive R-GBU’s Business Case Guidelines, Performance models, Procedures and Plant Life Cycle Management processes,
- Share knowledge and experience particularly with respect to performance.
- Lead REX, best practices sharing on technical aspects between all different entities of R-GBU and others
- Provide direct support on the allocated projects for yield assessment, equipment selection, optimisation of configuration, BESS modelling, for suppliers / contractors warranty related under-performance, RCA on underperformance.
- Respect the Department’s and groups process in term of Yield assessment and discrimination of underperformance
- Monitor, review and provide recommendations on Performance test methods and reports.
- Review, and monitor performance of Solar, Wind and Hybrid plants vs. the base case performance and identify margins or shortcomings to mitigate risk and/or increase competitiveness.
- Contribute to Project Reviews, Technical Deep Dives and RCAs.

**Knowledge and skills**:
- Sound knowledge of the Solar ERA and Performance inclusive of challenges, opportunities and technology evolution.
- Good knowledge of the Business Development Process
- Good knowledge and understanding of key project agreements such as EPC, SA, LLA etc.
- Good understanding and knowledge of business models
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards, Guidelines and Procedures
- Strong knowledge of performance schedules in contracts and project agreements, testing methods, and analyses of test results.
- Strong knowledge of solar and also preferably wind plant performance drivers and optimisation of the same
- Computer literacy
- Fluent in English; other languages is a plus
