**Field of activity**
Within the Sales team of the Eurex FIC Derivatives & Repo Sales area, you will act as a salesperson for buy-side/HF Repo business and will be responsible for actively managing and steering sales campaigns and sales activities for your field of responsibility. In addition, you will be required to analyze the market potential and identify, build relationships with existing and new Eurex clients. You will also be asked to help develop sales concepts and strategies for new and existing Eurex products, assist in developing targeted voice lines, execute focused campaigns for volume and growth increase and engage sales activities across all our regions in close cooperation with other Eurex business departments.

**Tasks/responsibilities**
- Identify, develop, and maintain a sales pipeline and opportunities to increase trading and clearing flow from both existing and new clearing members with particular focus on buyside clients.
- Manage the existing relationships with several allocated Eurex customers and drive client acquisition efforts in geographic area of responsibility.
- Become a product expert within the current FIC & Repo product portfolio (with a dedicated focus on buy-side/HF) by understanding market needs, developing product strategy, and planning sales activities for existing and prospective customers, on both the buy and sell side.
- Act as a liaison between the targeted customer base and other Eurex departments such as Product Development, Market Supervision, Customer Support, Operations, IT and Marketing
- Design product launch strategies, build target markets and analyze business potential for new products for presentation to management Produce marketing and sales materials; give presentations and/or training sessions for traders, IT staff, back-office staff etc., on Eurex products, functionalities, and technology.

- Represent Eurex in marketing its products and services at conferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, business managers and project teams of both buy-side, sell-side institutions, IDBs and relevant vendor/ technology companies
- Collect intelligence on the competitive landscape to identify opportunity or enhance our competitive edge

**Qualifications/required skills**:

- Highly self-motivated, team-oriented individual with at least 5+ years of successful client-facing sales experience in the securities finance, funding, or financial services industry
- Knowledge of prime brokerage, funding & financing, derivatives products, and markets, as well as a good understanding of the business motivations of various market participants (brokers, hedge funds, insurance companies, asset managers etc.).
- Thorough working knowledge of financing and clearing operations within global financial institutions
- Understanding of the latest changes to the regulatory landscape, its potential impact on financial legislation, and the trends towards centralized clearing and collateralisation
- Established relationships in the repo industry.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Highly motivated to work autonomously in a dynamic environment, willingness to constantly learn, highly organized, flexible and able to travel.
