You will be joining IFF global finance organization under the controllership team reporting to the IFF France controller.
Your will be responsible for accounting activities for the legal entities in France:
- Work with Budapest team to prepare the month end, quarter end and year end closing under US GAAP following financial standards and procedures of IFF;
- Monthly preparation of intercompany recharges
- Monthly Balance Sheet review and approval of reconciliations prepared by Budapest team
- Complete local tax filing & declaration, (VAT, CVAE and other local taxes) to ensure local tax compliance.
- Support in the preparation of monthly reporting’s
- Support the preparation of the statutory reporting and local GAAP compliance including reconciliation between US GAAP/Local GAAP /Tax GAAP;
- Support controller in the Internal Audits, External Audits and various government inspection (VAT, Corporate Income tax, Social Sec., Employee tax, etc.)
**Job Requirements**:
- You are fluent in French & English
- Your good organizational skills
- Your capacity to create and maintain good work relationships
- Certificated accountant is a plus
- Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of US GAAP and French GAAP
- Basic knowledge on French tax
- Be proficient in MS Excel (advanced)
- Knowledge in SAP is a plus
