We are looking for a **Work Package controller **within the Rolling Stock Saint-Ouen unit (RSC STO), a growing unit which is currently leading several projects.

In charge of Cost controlling and reports Work packages related cost, the Work Package controller provides clear and transparent data on cost to date and at completion and ensure the necessary conditions for achievement of the work packages’s financial targets. He is the finance business partner of the project/sub system manager and ensures effective reporting and controlling on the scope. He ensures that adequate reporting, controls and processes are in place to meet all of the company requirements and policies compliance

**Key accountabilities**

**1/ Cash Flow, Cost and Revenue Margin Management**
- Cost and cash monitoring, analysis and reforecast until project completion
- Keenly monitor and forecast cash flows arising from the project, setting control environment for the cash management in order to optimise cash flow.
- Prepare monthly Work packages review with project manager, analysing gaps between costs incurred vs forecasts
- Coordinate the difference functions to ensure accurate reforecast and budget processes
- Monitor & forecast revenue and gross margins arising from the project, setting control environment for the revenue and margin management.
- Review and validate Quality Cost Delay performance vs commitment for Work packages and provide gap analysis (scope of change, performance variance, improper costing at tender stage )
- Contributes to the optimisation of financial performance of Work packages's:

- Identify cost saving opportunities and prevent and alert of any deviance vs budget and forecasts
- Follow financial results of action plans for costs reduction
- Propose actions to reduce costs
- Provides transparency of financial elements consolidated in Work packages vs Work packages completion forecasts, ensure industrial and manufacturing risks are properly assessed and mitigation plans in place
- Validates data accuracy and cost valuations (hours, hourly rate, purchase costs, calculation, allocation of fixed or unabsorbed cost to projects

**2/ Reporting and Coordination**
- Provides all Work packages financial reporting and benchmark by products family: average cost, productivity, ratio, delivery on time ratio
- Interface with Work packages manager on cost evolution in coordination with cost managers and project controller and challenges
- Works closely with Project controller, local accounting teams and central controlling teams.
- Act as an interface with Operations especially WP manager and cost managers on follow up of cost evolution related to Work packages, cost reduction opportunities
- Alert of any cost drift and productivity deterioration
- Validate contract database
- Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making.
- Ad-hoc reporting on project.

**3/ Financial Administration & compliance**
- Ensure that Work packages approval process is strictly compliant with Transport and Prodcut Line rules

**Requested profile**
- Academic background with a Degree qualified either in finance, business management or Engineering degree
- 3yrs+ of experience, ideally in long term contracting
- Fluent in French and English, Other languages are an asset
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Affinity for both finance and technical matters
