**About the job**
Salesperson, relationship manager, consultant, product trainer: you are all these things and more. You represent our organisation - an experienced distributor - in your dealings with major players in the biotechnology sector, ranging from pharmaceutical companies to businesses in the food industry. We put our trust in your expertise. This means we will give you lots of responsibility and the freedom to perform your duties however you want. If you need help, you can always reach out to your colleagues.
**A few examples of your activities**
- You maintain relationships with existing and new customers, advise them and bring new product lines in focus
- You provide product training and demonstrations for customers and end-users
- You follow developments with customers and in the market, identify trends and, if necessary, anticipate these developments
- You carry out the associated administration, such as preparing quotations and updating customer data in our CRM system
- You are (pro)actively engaged in acquisition by approaching customers, making appointments and assignments. You do this through various channels such as social media, visiting trade fairs and other networks
- You think along with the marketing policy and the optimization of our sales process

You will operate out of our office in Lyon, from which we service our clients. We guarantee you will be made to feel right at home in our organization. We are there for each other and share our knowledge in order to offer our clients the highest possible quality of service.
**Your Qualifications**
- You have at least five years of sales experience in the biopharma and biotechnology industry (selling equipments)
- You are coming from a higher scientific course with preferably an emphasis on cell culture techniques upstream and bioprocess engineering
- A real appetite for sales
- You have excellent communication skills
- Energetic, confident and independent; able to develop long-term relationships with our customers
- You enjoy working internationally (especially France and Southern Europe)
- A very good spoken and written level in French and English
- You have a driving license
