**The Job**:
We are currently recruiting a Dinearound Restaurants & Activities Manager to be part of the team managing Hospitality Program for one of the Top Sponsors of Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This position will be based in Paris region, with start on April 1, 2024, and end on August 31, 2024 (Fixed-term contract).
Reporting to the overall Operations Director, the Restaurants & Activities Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to restaurant and activities’ bookings, while maintaining the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities - Overall**:
- Onboarding of Games-time Dinearound and Activities coordinators.
- Assist in development of training materials, conduct training and coaching for Games-time coordinators to enhance guest service skills, hospitality standards, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement plans to enhance attendee experiences, promote local culinary exploration, and execute activities that cater to various age groups, demographics, and interests.
- Collaborate closely with venues staff, organizers, and vendors to coordinate dinearound meals, activities, and logistics.
- Handle any issues or special requests that arise, resolving them promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Review billings, update the accounting reports and maintain the budget.
**Key Responsibilities - Dinearound Restaurants**:
- Oversee F&B operations for scheduled dinearound meals, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and guest satisfaction.
- Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for each planned meal and review them with the restaurants’ manager.
- Advance all scheduled meals at the dinearound venues with assistance of coordinators.
- Manage guest arrivals, seatings, and departures from restaurants ensuring a warm and professional impression.
- Review billings, update the accounting reports and maintain the budget (before, during and post event).
**Key Responsibilities - Activities**:
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of activities to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of events.
- Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for each planned activity and review them with the activities’ manager.
- Advance all scheduled group activities with assistance of coordinators.
- Manage guest arrivals, participation, and departures from activities ensuring a warm and professional impression.
- Review billings, update the accounting reports and maintain the budget (before, during and post event).
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Event Management, F&B Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in event management, hospitality, F&B, or travel-related roles, with a focus on organizing dining experiences.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; and solid knowledge of other Microsoft Office Products.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Based in France (preferably in Paris region).
