**Description du sujet**:

- The aim of this project is the development of novel organic optical sensors for the detection of bio
- and chemi-luminescence of cell activities
- _in vitro_. This project consists of two objectives. The first one is the development of a multi-pixel organic photodetector array for cell activity detection and proper electronics for connecting to recording equipment. The second objective is to demonstrate the proof of concept of detecting bio
- and chemi-luminescence using these devices.- In the first phase, the student will develop the device in a fully equipped cleanroom, containing all the necessary microfabrication technologies. This will be in parallel to the device characterization for understanding its performance.- In the second phase, the student will work on an optimal electronic packaging to connect the device to recording equipment. Then, he will carry on cell culture and will study the device performance

We have access to a 700 m2 cleanroom facilities and have highly equopped labs for development of neural interfacing devides.
