DEF Network is the international network of expert companies in fire safety and the first industrial in this market (61 companies, 12 factories and 2,400 employees). DEF network is committed for more than 60 years to save lives and preserve heritage. Integrated into the Network, DEF (850 employees in France) specializes in fire detection. Thanks to our high level of expertise and professionalism, we ensure the installation, commissioning service, system maintenance and detector refurbishment. For our Energy agency, based in Massy (91), specializing in park fire safety nuclear, we are looking for a Project Manager.
Attached to the Projects Department, you will supervise a multidisciplinary cross-functional team and ensure management, reporting of offers and projects for customers such as EDF, ITER, ENGIE, of which you are responsible, are in compliance with contractual obligations, budgets, deadlines and quality.
In the contract phase, with the same Support functions, you are proactive and ensure the good constitution of your project team. You ensure the supervision of the project from the conception until the production and commissioning of the systems and products concerned. You are responsible for the profitability of the business, planning, compliance of contractual deliverables, and satisfaction client. You ensure the content and admissibility of amendment requests, and negotiate them amounts in connection with the Projects Department.
Coming from an engineering background and qualification with a focus on Electricity / Control Command, you will be able to demonstrate considerable experience in industrial project management acquired in the weak current and ideally in fire detection, remote monitoring, access control. Your knowledge of the architecture of a nuclear power plant, nuclear safety and codes and standards governing this area will be appreciated to carry out your function.
Knowledge and practice of project management methodology and tools are required. Fluent French and English is essential. You will have a B license and you are mobile in France and the UK. You will be supported to relocate to France (Paris region), or are already resident in France.
