The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support to assist the Sales Team responsible for the Belux region. The job can be based in Paris or Belgium. Ideally, we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual who is currently completing their university degree or has 1-3 years of experience in Retail, Personal or Private Banking and would like to gain work experience with the perspective of developing a career in the asset management industry.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

- Assist the sales team in responding to client requests on various mutual funds distributed in the Belux market
- In charge of the client relationship management database for the region
- Develop marketing tools for the retail market
- Involvement in the organisation and planning of client events (one to one meetings, seminars etc) and help prepare pre-meeting data and presentations
- Maintenance of CRM system (Salesforce)
- Interactions with other departments within M&G including Marketing, Events, Compliance and Operations.
- Assist in the completion of detailed fund questionnaires and on boarding of platforms and associated operational aspects.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G’s operational risk.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Finance Degree from either a Business School or University (Bachelor or Master)
- Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory, French is strongly appreciated
- Self-motivated to learn about the Asset Management industry.
- Good organisational skills and able to demonstrate examples of being proactive
- Proven team player
- Good numerical skills
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Willingness to travel
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office pack (especially power point and excel)
