**Airbus Helicopters **is looking for a **MRO First generation contract owner **(f/m) **to join our Chief Engineering Department based in **Marignane, France.**

You will be part of the MRO team and you will lead the global engineering activity of the first generation LEGACY fleet.

As part of the MRO team, you will be in charge to master and synchronize of all activities concurring to the:

- development, certification & qualification of the First Generation fleet evolutions,
- MCO contracts,
- Major incidents (corrective measure)
- Project Tools improvement referent inside the team

Your main responsibilities
- Achieve project objectives (time, scope, cost, quality) to customer satisfaction in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations.
- Define, implement and drive a project team/organization all along the project phases, including people coming from other functions (matrix organizations).
- Ensure active risk and opportunity and contract (internal or external) management.

**Your challenges**:

- Responsible to lead all engineering activities, and ensure customer needs and requirements are known and met,
- Responsible to build and follow-up the development logic, taken into account the “in service” fleet specificities (old generation architecture, Helicopters availability and end of life,)
- Responsible to align your activities with Industry, Support & Services and Procurement.
- Responsible of the follow-up in their own perimeter (technical status, budget, milestones, risks, KPI, reporting).
- Responsible to manage workload and expenses to ensure development is done within budget allocated by program
- Responsible to define, cascade and refine backlog towards Design office.
- Represent the engineering organization and support the program during the reviews with the “end-user customer”,
- Ensure synchronization and synergies with MRO team activities.
- Take actively part in team animation and routines
- Ensure effective integration of lessons learnt.
- Responsible to ensure the project tools deployment and use inside the MRO team
- Contribute to the general improvement of the tools, as focal point for the team

**Your profile**:

- Engineer or Bac+5 diploma
- 5 Min years of professional experience. Advanced general knowledge of helicopters
- Project Management: 3 to 5 years - Ability to work with project management tools (planning, presentations, etc.)
- Soft Skills:

- Enjoy teamwork,
- Be positive and welcome problems on a daily basis to move projects forward, pragmatism,
- Sense of responsibility
- Language skills:

- English: Negotiation
- French: Negotiation
