**Purpose of the role**Responsibilities**
- Manage actual Grand Vision international transport network by interacting with single incumbent forwarder used for moving goods from Asian vendors to all over the world:

- › daily monitoring of EDI messages received from forwarder
- › overviewing overall transport execution to grant on time delivery of the cargo to consignees
- › running/building reports to display kpis of the administered network (synchonicity, Customs)
- › liasing with supply chain team to capture common goals and manage needs
- › following up with forwarder to improve service level and mitigate risks B
- Collaborate with Group Log.s controlling to analyze transportation costs and define targets, bgt etc
- Manage ongoing project to transition progressively supply flows from actual way of working to EL core model for all product types
- Lead implementation of new Logistics suppliers awarded through the RFQ process (if needed)
- Define targets and monitor transportation mode for international flows of all product types
- Partner with Shippers and Receivers + Sourcing team in troubleshooting issues in the network and study and implement back up plans
- Support the internal customers needs for any transportation related topic
- Be the reference point for the central organization for any need related to the transportation

**Your Profile**
- _Extensive knowledge of transportation industry and of the logistics environment in general_
- Ability in data gathering and data management oriented to analytics
- Team work attitude and ability to build efficient communication lanes across a multi-functional organization
- Presentation skills (towards mid-upper management)
- Ability in speaking Italian and French is a plus
- Educational Background in bachelor's/master degree in management engineering or in transportation/supply chain
- At least **2/3** years of experience in **transportation industry and of the logistics environment in general**:

- Strong problem solving skills
- Solid experience **in data gathering and data management oriented to analytics**:

- Team work attitude and ability to build efficient communication lanes across multi-functional organization
- Presentation skills (towards mid-upper management)
- Ability in speaking Italian and French is a plus
