As part of its strategy, URCA is implementing a new organisation to support all members of the URCA community in the development and funding of their projects, particularly European ones.

The university is looking to recruit a Specialist in Legal Affairs (M/F) for its new Project Department (DIP).

Votre mission, si vous l'acceptez

Its role will be to manage European contracts and intellectual property relating to these projects.

The principal missions will be as follows:

Analyse the context and requirements of partnerships (intellectual property, dissemination and exploitation of project results, data protection, RGPD, etc.);

Negotiate, prepare and review partnership agreements in compliance with the legal, administrative and financial rules of European programmes and URCA;

Support the legal development of projects throughout their lifecycle;

Analyse, summarise and consolidate information relating to the protection and exploitation of data and research results, and make it available to project sponsors by means of awareness-raising and communication tools;

Participate in the development and organisation of training courses on European projects for doctoral students and other target groups at the university.

This position has been created thanks to the support of France 2030 as part of the DIVRESCA project, awarded in response to the call for projects entitled "Accelerating the development strategies of higher education and research establishments".

Le profil idéal, selon nous

You have a Master's degree in Law and Intellectual Property and at a minimum 3 years' experience.

You have a solid legal background in contract law, intellectual property law, European law and personal data protection law.

You are familiar with the legal, administrative and financial aspects of European and international project development, and with the organisation and running of higher education and public research.

Professional English and French (legal terms) are a requirement.

You are able to lead and initiate partnerships with professional players and to lead public events (oral presentations, training courses).

You must have a solid understanding of information systems and office software.

You have an analytical approach that enables you to prepare documents including reports and summaries, and the ability to communicate effectively at professional events such as meetings, training courses and oral presentations.

You have excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of diplomacy. You are comfortable working in new and varied work environments.
