BW Ideol is a leading fully integrated platform in floating offshore wind with more than 10 years of experience from design, execution and development of floating wind projects based on Ideol S.A.'s patented floating offshore wind technology and engineering capabilities. The company has a dual-leg growth strategy as a floater EPCI and maintenance services provider and as a wind-farm project developer and co-owner. BW Ideol has two full-scale offshore floating wind turbines in operation in France and Japan, a significant project pipeline, and is supported by BW Offshore’s extensive experience from developing and operating offshore energy production systems.
**Description du poste**:
BW Ideol is looking for a** Civil Engineer** (Permanent).
In the context of the design, construction and installation of BW Ideol’s projects, the main responsibilities of the Civil Engineer will be to:
| Participate to the design of the floating foundation structure in accordance with state-of-the-art methods and tools, within project constraints;
| Contribute to the development of optimized methods for serial construction
| Perform global and local structural analysis to design primary and secondary structures;
| Interface with the design office for structural drawings and rebar arrangement drawings delivery;
| Verify subcontracted work and compliance of construction with specifications;
| Contribute to the continuous improvement of calculation methodologies
| Contribute to the design, optimisation, analysis and evaluation of design alternatives;
| Support commercial offers regarding the structure discipline.
**Profil recherché**:
- Able to design innovative steel and concrete structures
| Experienced in reinforcement bars arrangement and design according to International Codes (Eurocodes, JSCE, ACI )
| Experience in FEM calculation of at least one design software among NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS, Robot, Advance or other
| Comfortable in written communication and reporting; able to provide good quality level documentation
| Comfortable to work in a multi-cultural and multi-industry environment
| Good command of English, both written and spoken.
