**Position**:
**About the role**:
The Associate will support the implementation of the ECF internal communications strategy, to help ensure that employees are well-informed and engaged around the organisational strategy, vision, and priorities. This is a transversal role: you’ll be part of the ECF’s Corporate Communications team but will work closely with our CEO office, Management Team, Transformation Office, HR, and other stakeholders across the organisation.

The Corporate Communications team manages the ECF's brand, corporate identity, and communications with key stakeholders. We drive internal communications to ensure staff are well-informed about the foundation's strategic priorities and news, working with teams across the organisation.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation of our internal communications strategy and workplan in close collaboration with our CEO office, Transformation office, HR, and other teams as needed
- Help ensure that our organisational strategy, vision, key priorities and news are effectively, consistently shared and understood across the ECF
- Collaborate with relevant teams to help build and foster employee engagement and a positive organisational culture, including supporting development of the ECF culture and DEI policy
- Develop and/or manage internal communications channels and tools, notably our internal comms calendar, SharePoint, internal newsletters, and internal comms guidelines/training materials
- Build up our knowledge management system, in collaboration with our IT team and Transformation Office
- Provide internal communications support for our CEO office and Management Team by preparing internal meetings and webinars, creating support materials for these, and helping to cascade communications to different internal stakeholders (e.g. Management Council and/or all staff).
- Use analytics, surveys, focus groups and other tools as needed to track the success of our internal comms initiatives
- Provide support for other projects and tasks as needed

**Requirements**:
**Desired experience and competencies**:

- A genuine interest in the mission and values of the organisation
- 2+ years’ experience, especially in internal communications and/or change management communication
- Writing and communication skills:

- Outstanding English skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate complex or dense materials into clear, engaging communications — intranet content, newsletters, presentations and more. An aptitude for design and visual/audio-visual communications is welcome.
- Seeks to figure out how to best communicate with people with different backgrounds, perspectives and needs; adapts communication style and approach to different audiences.
- Other European languages, especially French, would be welcome but are not required.
- Collaborative: Works effectively as part of a team based in multiple locations
- Stakeholder and relationship management: engages, persuades and collaborates effectively with a range of stakeholders from different cultures, backgrounds and seniority levels.
- Self-starter: proactive, can self-motivate and operate autonomously on key tasks.
- Innovative: seeks to question the status quo, improve processes and solve problems.
- Organised: sets and focuses on key priorities; manages multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines.
- IT skills: proficiency in knowledge management systems, Intranet/website CMS and Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with newsletter/CRM and design software such as Adobe InDesign or Canva is appreciated.
