**As HR Plant Manager you will **provide consultative advice and solutions to Managers regarding People Strategy and People decisions within their the perimeter of the Pont-de-Claix plant (1400 associates).

You will ensure the People Strategy delivers efficient solutions which bring strategic value to overall Business performance.

The role holder works in collaboration with HR colleagues to ensure a consistent HR service provision to Business Leaders, Managers and Associates across the Business and to own the implementation of all strategic People programmes and change agendas.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and cultivate key relationships with the Business leadership teams, ensuring that the HR Business Partner is an integral part of that team, and is seen as the main contact for HR expertise in support of the operational strategy and development of the People Plan.
- Drive organisational efficiency through strategically supporting the Business in the prioritizing, design and implementation of tailored People solutions. Delivering optimised people and Business performance based on an in depth knowledge of the business area.
- Partner with the ASC and the Centres of Expertise to influence continuous improvement of the HR strategy, policy, services and processes. Bring to bear the services of other HR teams to ensure organisational effectiveness by securing the right expertise and ensuring long term relationships are maintained.
- Facilitate and advise on talent decisions to ensure strong succession pipelines for critical roles. Partner with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams to align top talent to the highest priorities while ensuring inclusion and diversity outcomes.
- Manage capability building and implement initiatives that mitigate people related risks. Assess and address attrition and retention of key employees in order to optimize performance against current and future needs of the Business.
- Feed the strategic people requirements into the wider People Plan, ensuring its alignment with the specific Strategic objectives of that function. Make a significant contribution to the wider Business area strategy and manage and audit HR budgets to deliver against these objectives.
- Gather and interpret data to help identify where people interventions are required. Use external market insight and knowledge of HR trends and eminence to support data-driven insight and decision making.
- Provide consultative mentorship and support for sophisticated People issues and activities including compensation, training plans, talent reviews, succession, documentation and activities not supported by the ASC/COE, re-structuring, separation strategy and severance.
- Define overall strategy and approach on managing employee and third-party labor relations. Support and advise the Business on employee relations issues including owning the relationship with Works Councils/Unions.
- Implement policy and process, as advised by the ASC/COE, to the Business including communication to Associates where support is required in local language
- Strategically support the Business through Organizational Development and Change initiatives, including organization design, workforce planning, talent management, culture and organisational change.

**About you**:

- Master’s Degree required in Business, Human Resources, or Law
- Minimum of 10 years exp in a similar position in large manufacturing organizations
- Proficient level of English
- Solid understanding of all local legal requirements related to Human Resources
- Shown ability to assess situations quickly
- Develop short and long-term strategies and implement them in the face of ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability with Change Management
