SBU MED > Project Management > Construction

Construction department is responsible for:
Managing Supply, Installation or Turnkey contracts from the firm order date up to Take Over to customer

Ensuring and improving Project targets ( safety, cash, margin, revenues)

Keeping high level of customer satisfaction

Organizing internal and external stakeholders

Contract Management (reporting to Head of Construction and supporting Project Managers) is within Construction Department, responsible to ensure productive contract management to meet financial expectations

**Responsibilities**:
Motivated risk mitigation - supervising contractual notices - project extension of time event - liquidated damages... in collaboration with France and Iberia Construction Sub Departments ( Project Management, Planning, Installation ) and with others functions ( Sales, Legal, Procurement, Transport, Technology...) ensuring a clear contract overview VS customers and within the project strategy and business constraints.

Contract management value creation:
Variation orders / contractual amendment preparation vs customers and subcontractors

Enthusiastic participation in customer and subcontractor meetings.

Early completion value

Reporting and analysis:
Optimize costs and profitability of Vestas projects.

Improve/provide contractual feedback to stakeholders/management within a developing strategy and creation of solutions in accordance to customer specifications, contracts, laws, regulations and needs

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law with minimum 3-year experience in Contract Management or similar position

Good oral and written communication skills in French and English (Spanish would be added value )

IT Literate (office Package)

Competencies:
skills in business understanding and information /data analysis

Knowledge of project control systems, tools, and practices.

Good organization and interpersonal skills as well as solid communication and negotiations skills

Ability to adapt to a growing environment. Collaboration: high interpersonal and teamwork skills, with firm desire to work collaboratively and creatively with the development team to build relationships and solidify your position as trusted legal advisor.

Work efficiently in a time-sensitive situation, solve tasks and meet deadlines. Capacities to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly. Problem solving and judgement capabilities.
