Alstom is recruiting a Train Sub-System Engineer for its Railway Rolling Stock division located in Saint-Ouen, near Paris. To develop railway projects for the French and international market, you will be in charge to:
**Your responsibilities**:
- Analyze the technical specification of our customers
- Clarify the performances to be achieved
- Define a rolling stock architecture meeting customer requirements
- Specify the train sub-systems: bogie, auxiliary converter, doors, air conditioning, braking system, battery
- Follow the development up the validation of the considered sub-system
- Define and specify the functionalities of the sub-system
- Validate the sub-system on the train static and dynamic conditions on test ring or on customer track
Being integrated into multicultural project teams, you will develop your skills progressively in the railway domain.
**Your Profile**:
Engineer with general engineering background mechanical and/or electrical
5 year's experience preferrably in the railway industry, for example in:
train performances definition
train validation
Or similar experience working for railway sub-system suppliers
Fluent English and French
Travels in France and abroad for short-term missions during sub-system and train validation
