Summary

About us

Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.

While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.

Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.

The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.

We are currently seeking a E-merchandiser who will report to the E-merchandiser coordinator.

**Job Description**:

- Your opportunity_

In the E-merchandising team, you will manage the product catalog, ensure the best quality of assets for the products (images, prices, description, etc), content asset management in line with marketing calendar.
- How you will contribute_
- Manage the launch of products according to marketing planning and international markets, in collaboration with the Buying and Digital Content teams.
- In collaboration with the E-VM Coordinator: ensure consistency of information on product sheets and Visual merchandising, segmentation of the offer and product recommendation.
- Deploy the animation and the e-merchandising strategy (ergonomics of the site, customer journey), update the merchandising of the redirect page, check the availability of pushed products.
- In collaboration with the e-commerce teams in the region (when possible), optimize the search of the site and improve the ranking of the results.
- Update the content of the site according to marketing priorities/ communication highlights and prepare mock-up pages for validation and configure editorial pages.
- Analyze product, page and clickstream performance to optimize product availability and conversion metrics.
- Who you are_
- An excellent communicator.
- Organized, rigorous and conscientious.
- A person fluent in English and French, Italian is a plus.
- An expert in the Pack Office, preferably able to us SFCC.
