**Position Summary**:
SDSN Networks Team is looking for a highly qualified and motivated intern to support the work of the SDSN Networks Team. This entails tasks along the broad spectrum of program management, including coordination, communications, database management, membership drive, and event organization.

**About SDSN**:
UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) mobilizes the world’s academic and research institutes and leverages their strengths to help realize the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. It has been operating under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General since 2012. The SDSN pursues its mission by working with member institutions in countries around the world, organized into networks at the national and regional level (eg. SDSN France, SDSN Mexico, SDSN Amazon etc.)

In their respective countries and regions, SDSN’s networks of universities, research centers, and other knowledge institutions translate the latest expertise in sustainable development into action by:

- Promoting high-quality education and research collaboration for sustainable development
- Localizing and mobilizing support for the SDGs, including supporting governments in understanding and addressing the challenges of sustainable development
- Vetting and launching solution initiatives, including supporting the preparation of long-term pathways

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Providing dedicated support to the Networks Team’s work relating to the coordination of SDSN networks and members, their annual impact reporting, management of European projects and initiatives.
- Providing organisational and communication support relating to meetings and webinars, taking notes during events and following up on various action points.
- Editing the web content, posting content on social media channels and internal membership platform
- Updating and maintaining key internal documents and databases, including membership master list and focal point contact information
- Supporting the dissemination of publications, calls for case studies, and findings.
- Additional duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Postgraduate student in political sciences, international development or another relevant domain
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; additional software skills (Google suite, Airtable, Canva, Mobilize, Zoom, etc.) is an asset
- Excellent command of English
- Familiarity with the Agenda 2030, Sustainable Development Goals, and the Paris Climate Agreement
- Ability to work in multicultural and international team environment.

**Eligibility**:
Intern must be enrolled in a certified degree program (or be able to obtain a _Convention de stage_ from your university) and have the right to hold an internship in France. SDSN is not in a position to sponsor visas for student interns.

**Compensation & Benefits**:
The intern will receive a _gratification_ at the standard minimum hourly rate, plus 50% of local transportation costs.
