**Innovation Norway is seeking **a Business Developer/Senior Business Developer at our Paris office, for a 12-18-month replacement (CDD) for a colleague on maternity leave.

**As a Business Developer/Senior Business Developer** for Innovation Norway France, you will be part of our team working to support Norwegian businesses in entering and growing their position in the French and European market. In addition to Innovation Norway colleagues in Paris and Norway, you will work in close collaboration with Team Norway France, most notably the Norwegian Embassy, the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, and relevant Norwegian clusters and competence centres.
**This is a position with substantial autonomy**, requiring in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following sectors: EV, batteries/raw materials, electric mobility infrastructure, or green maritime.
**The following competences are of particular relevance**:
- Knowledge of technologies, relevant tenders and projects, value chains and supply chains in one or more of the above specific sectors
- Network with the sector’s key stakeholders (authorities at national and regional level, institutional actors, business support systems, commercial actors, and main players);
- Experience with relevant business models and market fit for various products and services;
- Knowledge of the green transition in France, including processes of policymaking and legislation;
- Project management and execution.
**Role and responsibilities**:
- Identify, document, and promote relevant market opportunities, tenders, and projects in the French market to Norwegian businesses and industry, and within Team Norway;
- Ensure continuous market intelligence in relevant sectors and segments. Conduct and publish market updates. Support digitalisation of market knowledge and tools through Innovation Norway and Team Norway platforms;
- Plan, organise and run webinars, events, and meetings;
- Identify relevant market events - organize market visit and delegations to these;
- Ensure proactive liaison and coordination throughout Innovation Norway and Team Norway;
- Provide in-depth technical knowledge and advice on technologies, needs and solutions.
**Essential criteria**:
We are looking for a hands-on, service oriented, collaborative, proactive, and results driven colleague. We expect you to have:
Master's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, or other relevant field;
- Minimum 10 years' relevant work experience and proven track record within technology development, business development and/or export promotion;
- Commercial mindset, and passion for sales and business development;
- Fluent written and spoken English and French (English as working language);
- Very good understanding of and experience with use of digital office tools (Teams, SharePoint, CRM etc.).
Knowledge of Norwegian (or other Scandinavian) language, business culture, and industry networks is an advantage, but no prerequisite.
