We are now looking for a Global Channels Manager to be accountable for driving and executing Solid Round Tools share of wallet growth thru our sales channels network, preliminary distributors. The role will also be responsible to develop a SRT channels Go to Market strategy toward our top markets, which includes product portfolio inputs to Offer department.

The position reports to the Head of Customer Application Support - Solid Round Tools

Main job responsibilities:
Global sales strategy management and execution:
- Develop Solid Round Tools channels Go To Market strategy for TOP10 Markets.- Manage Sandvik Coromant SRT Channels Marketing strategy in collaboration with cluster Marketing Execution Managers.- Drive SRT sales growth activities in collaboration with global channels management team.- Develop and Implement SRT Channels Marketing and Commercial activities together with Sales cluster Channels Managers.- Support and drive SRT business opportunities with Integrators (e.g., EWIE).- Conduct sales calls in conjunction with assigned sales teams, to key distributors and high potential deals, and oversee high growth strategic projects like web sales platforms.- Secure Channels products inputs / offer positioning with our Offer team as well as pricing department.- Coordinate SRT needs from a Marketing content point of view together with Channels Marketing team.- Support Web sales strategy / activities using global and/or local web platforms.- Oversee the design and implementation of necessary appropriate actions to meet competitive activity.

Other Management activities:
- Provide senior management with accurate and timely market information on customers, distributors, and competitors.- Challenge the current way of working, promoting new initiatives and initiating actions.- Act as a change leader within Sales Areas securing adhesion from sales teams.

Your profile:
- Capability in Performance Management and Accountability- Change management leadership- Ability to team and talent development- Strategic and execution capabilities- Knowledge and experience of managing external and internal customer relationships.- Relevant experience from Account Management or Sales Management.- Proven track record in delivering good business results- People management experience is an advantage- Successful experience from negotiations of commercial terms and conditions with industrial customers.- Understanding and utilization of Sandvik Coromant Business Tools and Concepts such as PIP, PA, CVF, Manufacturing Economics, Selling Higher etc.- Strong communication skills and presentation- Five to ten years’ experience in sales and marketing management with engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge- Relevant University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
