**Assignments for this position (Advanced Modeling intern) include**:
- Conduct research and development work using modeling tools in current and future fiber reinforced composite solutions.
- Understand latest modeling tools and make improvements to current resources
- Report writing + internal presentation (in English) on the delivery work

**Selection Criteria**
- Actively pursuing a M.S. or engineering degree in Materials Science & Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; or related science/engineering field
- Good level of knowledge in mechanics FRP composite.
- Good level of knowledge with standard composite testing procedures (tensile-compression-flexural, fatigue) and composites manufacturing process is a plus (Infusion, SMC)
- Experience in one of the following modeling/simulation techniques - micromechanics, laminate design, Finite Element Analysis (Abaqus preferred), Micromechanics (Digimat) or process modeling (Moldex3D or Moldflow).
- Experience with scripting languages (Matlab, Python.)
- Team player and ability to work on multiple projects in multicultural environment in collaboration with colleagues and other teams
- Accountable, reliable person and efficient in the work delivery
- Good communication skills in English and French (written and oral)
Duration: 6-month internship.
Starting date: Feb or Mar 2023
