It’s easy to stay driven when you do something important. **The Regional Software Director (RSwD) - SEMEA** is responsible for driving the regional software business in line with Software Solutions and regional strategy.

You take active part in creating strategy for the regional software teams and build optimal resource and technical competence across the region, for software service activities including delivery, maintenance, and customer consulting/support. You are accountable for sales, together with Regional Software Sales Manager, and delivery of Marel Software projects in a specific region. Together with the team you build & maintain the relationships with key customers and support customer care.

In this role, you will:

- Build up Marel’s ARR (annual recurring revenue) base by strengthening customer loyalty and helping them use more of their software/digital functionality
- Guide, engage, and mentor a team of professionals
- Support and enable Software Sales Managers and their teams in the customer center (region)
- Maintain & increase customer engagement by interacting with key accounts on site and collecting the relevant feedback
- Develop an efficient and effective regional service team with the needed skills and knowledge to deliver software services and projects in region, as well as grow/upsell Marel software product to customers
- Implement best practices and service standards, processes, and work procedures, to ensure consistent high performance in delivery of services and projects
- Approve price and scope for sales and service quotations, including service contracts and installations
- Provide feedback from customer center to Software Product Management to improve performance and features of Marel Software portfolio

In order to be successful in this position, we expect that you are technically well-informed and a commercially oriented leader, who directs, coordinates, and leads a team of regional service specialists and supports the regional software sales team. Moreover, you bring with you:

- People management and problem-solving skills involving a high level of responsibility and self-motivation
- Ability to promote effective performance through good leadership, motivation, strategic thinking, and mentoring
- Knowledge of principles and processes for sales and providing customer service
- Ability to execute business improvements to achieve high customer satisfaction
- Experience in quoting complex high risk software implementation projects
- Experience of providing cost efficient services and with background of demonstrating cost control mechanisms and risk management
