About the job
Mission
- Define the scientific strategy for the Activia and Actimel brands
- Develop scientific narratives and claims
- Develop scientific content and communications to enhance Danone's and Activia and Actimel's scientific reputation

In collaboration with the Food Science Director

Main responsibilities
- Business strategy:

- For the Activia and Actimel brands:

- Be responsible for the scientific strategy and value proposition
- Develop scientific communications, narratives, and roadmaps
- Lead the development of science and external engagement through relevant scientific associations and category initiatives (GMFH)
- Be the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, zones, and CBUs
- Process & Projects:

- For the Activia and Actimel brands:

- Define the scientific roadmap aligned with the "North Star" brands' and consumer needs
- Drive differentiation and health credibility
- Increase and amplify Danone's leadership in science related to our health benefits
- Managerial complexity:

- Multi-dimensional
- Interactions with different functions, regions, and Country Business Units
- Participates in cross-functional project teams
- Interacts with high-level experts and KOLs and external organizations

Key deliverables
- For the Activia and Actimel brands:

- Scientific project portfolio aligned with a roadmap for each brand
- Value proposition for scientific projects taking into account the competitive context of the 5 major markets and consumer maturity
- Scientific facts and narratives based on the "engines" and clinical results for the brands
- Strategic content for category channels (GMFH)
- Publication activation plan for the brands
- Creation of content on health benefits aligned with the Medical & Nutrition Science scientific strategy
- Activation performance KPI’s
- Brand guidelines based on science and nutritional strategy
- Scientific content for the categories and key messages for CBU activations and R&I site visits
