**Position Duties**:
Your responsibilities would include:
- Formalise the Art Direction on an ambitious ongoing project, bringing consistency in-between all aspects of the game (character, environment, animation, VFX).
- Ensure with all the involved parties that the Art Direction is relevant from a team-skill, pipeline, budget, narrative and gameplay perspective.
- Communicate your AD effectively to a team of 8-10 artists and coach them so that they can meet guidelines and excel as artists.
- Work in conjunction with the Lead Art to create production pipelines so they can be easily understood and integrated by new team members.
- Organising and participating in meetings with the wider team to ensure that we're on track and that everyone is happy with what they're doing.
- Producing marketing assets or ensuring that your team has the bandwidth to produce them in collaboration with the marketing bastards.
- We're looking for someone with at least 5+ years of experience as a professional artist (freelance work included).
- You will have managed a team for a period of at least 2-3 years or be an Art Director on one shipped project.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, planning and organisational skills. Basically you need to know how to identify a problem, explain it clearly, persuade people to help you fix it then plan and implement the solution.
Bonus points:
- English (at least B2).
- Experience with 2D & 3D.
- Worked in both indie and AAA studios.
- Very familiar with Unity.
- Your jokes are less funny than those of the CEO
**Additional Information**:
- Remuneration : attractive remuneration adapted to your profile.
- Long Term Contract (CDI) on a 35 h basis
- Based in our office in Bordeaux, though work from home and necessary precautions are in place during the COVID19 crisis.
