Channel Account Manager
Location: EU (Home-Office)

as well as quality assurance labs. The Account Manager maintains effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing
customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Work to drive specific product sales, to support supplier partnerships, and actively promote core products and valuable services
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations with purchasing and end user contacts within assigned territory
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to expand business. Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives
- Perform sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers in the assigned territory primarily by phone, but also face-toface when required
- Research competitor and industry activity and keep informed of new products/services and other general information of interest to customers incorporating this data in the business plan;
- Lead pricing within the territory to optimize profitability
- Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files vital for proper management of territory
- Connect with supervisor for any customer issues or potential problems
**Key to Success**:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences or equivalent work experience
- Confirmed sales experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry, particularly where there is a sound understanding of the current market for laboratory equipment, consumables and/or chemicals
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong background in industry, pharmacy and science preferred
- Knowledge of spoken and written Spanish, French and English - Essential
- Good time management, communication, presentation, strategic selling and negotiation skills
- This role operates in a matrix environment where the job holder must work effectively with multiple team members to lead both requirements and concurrent project activities

- Serving customers and key partners requires a hard-working appearance and a professional approach
- Full license to travel to client sites and to attend national and international meetings
