We are looking for an intern for our Ethics and Compliance (E&C) department. Within the E&C team, you will participate in the development and implementation of the compliance program & processes dedicated to international sanctions regulations and export control regulations.
You will be in charge of the following missions:
- Involvement in the development/improvement of ALSTOM internal program related to “international sanctions & export control” (drafting of instructions, guidelines and development of processes etc ). To that end, liaise with the necessary other functions within the group.
- Development of our dedicated Sharepoint E&C page. This page aims at informing all ALSTOM employees on applicable laws and regulations and ALSTOM internal rules and processes.
- Preparation of internal communication tools.
- Legal research on trade sanctions and export controls.
**PROFILE**
Educational level:
- Master 2 level student or recent graduate (or equivalent) in international business law or student lawyer
- Previous experiences in law firms and/or international companies
Technical skills:
- Strong legal competencies (with a focus on international business law), ideally with some knowledge and experience in international sanctions/ export control.
- Excellent English language skills
Behavioral skills:
- Dynamic, curious, reactive
- Real interest in working on these compliance matters (i.e., trade sanctions/export control).
- Excellent interpersonal skills. The intern will have many interactions with other functions within the group (Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance etc )
**TERMS**
6-months internship with a start date in February 2023
