Systemair is hiring an Area Sales Manager for west Europe including France and neighbouring countries to further boost and develop the Systemair Group sales into data centers.

**Background**

Systemair sees a growing potential in the French data center cooling market. The of aim of this new position is to expand the region's existing and new business relationships in data center cooling with a view to sustainability, profitability and growth.

**About the job**

You will be employed legally in Systemair France but will work closely with our organization either in France and neighbouring countries but your position is part of the Global Data Center cooling team. You will be reporting directly to the Business Development Director Data Center Cooling. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales programs that maximize sales from the assigned accounts and to the new target accounts, overseeing and conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives and strategies.

The job requires entrepreneurial spirit from you to support and drive the operational and strategic sales & marketing work within the region that follows Systemair's overall Business Plan and Marketing Plan for data center cooling.

You also need to have good ability to work together with your colleagues in the global data center team as well as our local subsidiary. The position requires business travel in West Europe including France to meet our customers as well as travels to international customers ,exhibitions and potentially our factories across Europe

**In this position, you will**:

- Set goals, implement and follow up budget and activities for data center cooling in the region.
- Work to proactively perform sales and product information to Systemair's main customer groups in data center cooling for the entire Systemair product range, from all Systemair production facilities.
- Work together with Systemair's subsidiaries to strengthen Systemair's business and brand in the data center market
- Lead the process of identifying local market requirements (technical and regulatory) and coordinate the approach with the respective factories
- Work with our Sales support system / CRM
- Keep current market register for the unit
- Reporting of market activities
- Make sure requested communication and reporting is carried out
- Advise, coordinate and follow-up of orders regarding, Credit requests, Deliveries & Commissioning, Payment follow-up

**We are looking for someone with the following profile**:

- Preferable experience from the HVAC business
- Experience in Sales
- Sound intercultural experience with sensitivity to different (working) cultures
- Proven communication and relationship building skills
- Proactive with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent written and spoken French, Our group language is English, so you need also to be able to speak and write in English. Other languages is meritorious
- Ability to travel in France and abroad
- A university degree in technical education or business is appreciated, but not required

- Starting date is 1 December 2023 or as soon as possible.
- The location is in our French head-quarter in Lyon. With prior agreement it could be also possible to work remotely from home-office.
