Local IT Coordinator and Business Expert SAP

Integrated in the Performance Polyamides division of BASF France, you will join an european Supply Chain team that is part of a regional organization with functional leadership in Germany. Our company is one of the world leaders in the Nylon / Polyamide chain and have different factories on all continents (Europe, Asia, Americas).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will join the chemical site of the Chalampé industrial platform and ensure both an SAP expert role and IT project coordinator for the platform.

The position comprises of 2 main focuses:
**Business Expert for sales and Supply Chain Management, focus on SAP, Digitalization (Integrated Planning Systems), E-Commerce, CRM**:

- Support the conception, testing, Implementation and continuous improvement of Supply Chain & OTC processes
- Functional lead of key-users
- Consulting function with regard to IT based questions for business processes
- Coordination of master data maintenance
- Responsible for end-user training and support
- Build up documentation and self-learning tools/processes for end-user (MS Teams, sharepoint, etc.)

**IT Coordinator for BASF Chalampé site**:

- On-site project lead for IT setup new plant (ERP, infrastructure)
- Develop and implement IT strategy for Chalampe site
- Orchestrate and coordinate Global Digital Services for Chalampe site
- Consult and support BASF Join Venture at Chalampe site
- Planning and implementation of IT projects:

- Collect, define and evaluate business needs
- Develop and evaluate IT solutions
- Implementation, documentation and training according to scope and requirements

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Higher education in Engineering School in Supply Chain, Sales, IT, with 3 years of experience on similar functions.
- You have good knowledge and agility with enterprise information systems and especially SAP.
- You are able to synthesize and formalize complex processes: roles and responsibilities, information flows and physical flows.
- Your professional background has allowed you to develop a global vision of your profession and a real autonomy in your missions.
- You are used to working in a complex environment with multiple interfaces and know how to be proactive.
- You are a pedagogue, customer and result oriented, and able to convince others.
- As a true facilitator on a daily basis, you have already had the opportunity to distinguish yourself by your interpersonal skills and your adaptability.
- Fluent English an at least a B2 level in French is required for this position. A good level of German would be a plus.
