**The company**
The European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS) is a member-based not-for-profit organisation gathering +3000 vascular surgeons in Europe and beyond. Our mission is to improve vascular health for the public benefit. Activities include education and training, as well as science dissemination and creation.
**The Project**
As part of the latter, ESVS is launching a European Venous Registry for deep venous diseases. ESVS identified the lack of robust data to inform the outcomes of deep venous interventions, and consider it as an important scientific project to develop. New medical device regulations prioritise the need for improved long-term data collection on all vascular technologies, which is expensive and difficult to gather. Access to a central repository of data would be helpful for industry and all stakeholders. Thanks to the registry outcomes, it is expected that patients will benefit from the best deep venous treatment according to scientific evidence.
The European Venous Registry is an international repository of venous treatment data (first: deep venous) that informs the outcomes of venous interventions, with the ultimate goal to provide patients and stakeholders with the best possible treatment according to scientific evidence. The registry is open for a 10-year period.
**The team**
ESVS is run from its headquarters in Bordeaux, France. We are looking for a Registry Manager to join the team, currently composed of 9 staff members. They will report to the Operations Manager and to the CEO.
The essence of ESVS is to support pan-European vascular surgeon volunteer leaders. Therefore, the Registry Manager will be in regular communications with high-level surgeons and university professors from all over Europe. Most meetings are online but some onsite meetings in various European places should be expected.
The European Venous Registry project’s governance will include a Steering Committee, and a couple of Advisory Boards, that the Registry Manager will have to coordinate.

- Successful and smooth registry management

- Data quality
- Respect of GDPR according to the DPO’s recommendations
- Excellent user experience
- Happy stakeholders
- Proactive project management, identification of issues, recommendations
- Effective communication on the registry

5. Data and software management
a. Coordination with the software supplier
b. Coordination with all stakeholders
c. Dataset update
d. Data monitoring
e. Creation of custom reports
f. Software management
6. Project management
a. Responsible for all aspects of the project, i.e. project timeline, milestones, deliverables, budget, reports, stakeholders, brand registration
b. Development and updates of processes
c. Collaboration with Marketing Manager to develop communication plan
d. Reporting to Steering Committee Chair, Operations Manager, CEO and other ESVS leadership groups
