Your mission is to:

- Define and implement the product roadmap for discs and pads
- Manage the catalogue of standard discs and pads
- Manage year-to-year improvement actions to optimize the product QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery), taking into account field return
- Ensure the product strategy is properly applied during tenders, as well as during contract execution
- Prepare business cases to support make-or-buy decisions
- Monitor market needs (internally and externally) and technology trends to identify the need for new R&D programs
- Get approval for new R&D programs
- Plan, monitor, control and manage the R&D program (deliverables, schedule, resources, cost, risks, savings)
- Manage functionally a multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate all departments (engineering, quality, industrialization, sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, maintenance) contributing to the product roadmap
- Report to the management about the product QCD

Your profile:

- Brake background, preferably in railway, with a willingness to develop management capabilities
- Decision-minded and result-oriented
- Team spirit approach, communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Regular travels in Europe and abroad
