- Our “Generation & Transmission” division designs, manufactures and installs submarine / land High Voltage cable links throughout the world as part of ambitious “turnkey” High-Voltage projects:- Interconnection between two countries and
- Connection of offshore wind farms.**JOB DESCRIPTION**- Design, develop and optimize the installation of the land section of the High-Voltage cable links in compliance with Nexans customers' standards and technical specifications.
- At Tender stage of the Projects:- Write tender documents (expected scope of work and services, division of responsibilities, price schedule template) which will be sent to Nexans Civil Works subcontractors who will perform the Civil Works and the High-Voltage cable pulling during the Contract execution.
- Study subcontractors' offers and participate to technical review with them.
- In collaboration with the Tender Managers, prepare detailed technical offers and develop associated deliverables which will be integrated within Nexans' overall technical offer. (installation method statements, installation drawings, installation and Civil Works costing)-
- During the Projects execution phase:- Elaborate final and detailed High Voltage cable link installation method statements / drawings (with a focus on the interfaces at the electrical substations)
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers / technical and installation teams as well as with Nexans’ clients to ensure the successful implementation of Nexans’ Contracts.-
- Contribute to innovation by proposing innovative ideas to improve existing installation methods and develop new solutions.
- Participation in technical meetings with Nexans clients.
- Occasional travels in France and abroad.**REQUIRED SKILLS**- General engineers or specialists in Electrical Engineering / Civil Works related field-
- Beginners or with a few years of experience.-
