**Work environment**:
Within the Global Power Business Area, the “Green Fuels Product” is in charge to commercialize and deliver projects in the field of Classical Gas (LNG terminals and Gas pipelines) and New Green Gases (Hydrogen, Ammonia, Methanol, etc.)

The activities in these fields are mainly related to
- (Pre-)Feasibility and Basic Design;
- Front End Engineering Design;
- Owner’s Engineer;
- Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM);
- Site supervision, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;
- The concerned contracts could cover the following geographical areas: Europe, Africa, Middle East, Latin America or Asia.

***Mission**:
You will be in charge of developing and managing the portfolio of projects for the Department Conventional and Green gas in France (conventional and new gas (including green hydrogen, biogas), renewable energy). In that framework, and with the support of an international team (BD & Sales, Marketing, Communication, HR ), you will be responsible to increase the value of the business portfolio, maximize the performance, deliver a high quality and E&C standards to our clients and be accountable for the results and development of the P&L Conventional & Green Gas Unit.

Your function

As a Head of Conventional and Green Gas in the Business Area Global Power and a member of the Management Committee of Tractebel France, your main missions are:

- Contribute to the definition and prioritization of the market, targets and go to market strategy in the product scope
- Develop engineering solutions and energy consulting activities, by implementing the strategy defined for the product Gas to X
- Lead the business development activities on existing and unexplored businesses in his/her scope, in collaboration with the BD team, execute the prospection plan for his/her scope and take part in key account management
- Lead the sales activities : validate GO / NO GO decisions with the Head of BD/Sales Gas to X depending on size of bids and defined thresholds, participate in RMC, CRC processes in close cooperation with Head of BD/Sales, sign/co-sign on proposals within the legal entity France perimeter
- Define the overall operations strategy of the Department “Conventional and Green gas” in France, in order to maximize the profitability (own production vs. use of freelancers, cooperation within the group, use of resources within BA Global over the borders,)
- Manage projects and their implementation phase, according to financial results, deadlines and quality criteria : be responsible for the budget of the projects in his/her scope, lead and coach teams of project managers efficiently in terms of project organization, ensure the technical level of proposal to the market is up to the client’s expectations as well as the delivery of the product related consulting & engineering projects with the highest standard of Quality and Safety, conduct project review and provide guidance to the teams when needed,
- Manage teams: mobilize, motivate and support the teams to achieve their targets, define the need of resources and type of competencies needed to deliver, define the best organisation to make the team effective, ensure the accurate skills and career development, offer people good working environment conditions, take part to the HR development cycle (People review, Yearly appraisal, Salary review)
- Is accountable for the financial performance in his/her scope : Define with the Head of product the yearly and mid-term budget for the operations, set the objectives (quality and quantity wise) to the teams, be accountable for the achieving of the targets, implement, support and promote the tools and good practices to reach operational excellence, support the finance team in assessing financial project performance
- Ensure successful integration into the Business Area Global Power : develop a strong collaboration mindset within the teams to find synergies and boost commercial efficiency and act as “one company” manager within the operational responsibility
- Promote innovation to develop services and products that make a significant contribution to Tractebel's business portfolio

Mobility : frequent business trips in France and in Europe

**Qualifications**:
**Profile**:

- University degree (technical or managerial) or equivalent
- Strong experience in the Gas sector, including as Project Manager
- Business Development and multitechnical project management experience, ideally at an international scale
- Strong team management experience
- Fluency in English and French
- In-depth understanding of the engineering business and energy sector
