Airbus Helicopters is looking for a **Customs Head of **(d/f/m) to join our Customs Department based in **Marignane **, France.

Customs is part of a “Center of Competences” located in Finance and providing support to all functions across the group. You work closely with your colleagues in other Airbus Helicopters countries such as Germany, Spain, China and USA also with customs specialists in other divisions (Airbus Commercial and Airbus Defence and Space) located in various countries.

Your responsibility is focused mainly on ensuring the coordination between the Airbus Helicopters countries where the national customs managers have a deep customs knowledge and are strongly rooted to the operations and the Head of Customs at Group level.

You will be involved in multi-country projects, you will manage the customs quality policy in line with corporate policy including data management.

**Your challenges**:

- You align at Division level all legal questions related to customs together with the corporate policy
- You are in charge of harmonizing customs processes across Airbus Helicopters
- You are the customs focal point at Division level in support of your team when it is needed to represent the customs department in front of our stakeholders such as Logistic, Procurement, Transport, Legal, Export Control, etc. and as well within Finances
- You participate in the customs meetings organized by the Head of Customs at corporate level
- You are in charge of managing the call for tender at Division level in case of customs service provider contract renewal and making sure that the corporate policy is aligned to the requirements of the Division
- You draft customs quality documentation to be used for internal and AEO renewal audits taking into account the national constraints provided to you by your team
- You represent & promote the interests of the Division, you will be a member of the customs related associations. You represent the interests of the customs associations and will deal directly with national and international authorities on behalf of the Division in full alignment with the head of Customs at corporate level

Business travels:
This position involves a willingness to travel on a regular basis (e.g. twice or three times a month within Europe).

**Your profile**:
Your educational background:

- Educated Master’s degree in completed studies in e.g. business administration or commercial law
- Proven experience operationally speaking and capacity to take a more global role but still being strongly connected to the business and your team
- You bring several years of customs knowledge and extensive experience in customs

Your hard skills and qualifications:

- You have an excellent network in the customs area
- Experience in customs systems e.g. GTS (Global Trade Services) from SAP is a clear plus
- Your knowledge of logistics and supply chain is highly appreciated
- Ideally you have experience in the aviation industry
- Knowledge of finance and controlling as well as knowledge of quality is a plus
- Experience in Google Workspace is a plus

- You are confident in reading and understanding complex documentation and in creating legal documents
- To behave 100% in a compliant way and to stick to current Ethic & Compliance rules is part of your DNA
- You like to work in a transnational team and have excellent communication skills
- You are able to convince your stakeholders, internally and externally, due to your competences and your sovereignty
- You are a reliable person who likes to work autonomously
- You are used to take risks and make decisions

Your language skills:

- English at negotiation level
- French, German or Spanish is a plus
