**The team you'll be part of**

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will be part of the Baseband and Soc Development Unit, in charge of developing the NOKIA base stations to be used for future 6G cellular networks.

In the HW Development Department, our team is responsible for the design of electronic boards and associated software test tools. Our products are based on the latest technology, integrating complex SoCs for L1 and L2 layers.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

As an experienced HW designer, your role will be to drive HW development by being a key player in the design of an electronic board.
- Your work will include component technology selection, schematic entry, simulation, unitary testing and associated documentation.
- You will also interact with the factory for prototypes manufacturing follow-up.
- You will work in an Agile design environment leveraging an international network with colleagues in various countries in Europe, China and North America.
- You will follow NOKIA internal Quality processes and leverage a strong and efficient Design Environment for successful project execution and product development.
- You will be responsible for the timely execution of the projects and the HW quality of the products.

**Your skills and experience**

Experienced HW Engineer with minimum 5 years-experience in hardware development.
- Good knowledge about classical HW digital product architecture (multi processors, multi cores SOC, FPGA, memories) and high-speed physical interfaces (Serdes, SFPs )
- Good knowledge about standard interfaces (USB, SPI, I2C, DDR), CAD tools and HW simulations.
- Curious, autonomous and proactive, you demonstrate a good sense of analysis and synthesis and a good capacity for anticipation.
- You are rigorous and communicate well in an international environment
- French and English fluently spoken.

It would be nice if you specifically had:

- Knowledge about the Mentor Graphics-Siemens Dx designer / Expedition CAD tools
- Knowledge about the following simulation tools (Siemens-Mentor HyperLynx and ADS Keysight)
