The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an EMEA APPLICATION ENGINEER (M/F/*) within Home Improvement & Consumer Wellbeing (HI&CW) for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- Managing Application Engineering activities. Mapping key processes, identifying gaps and solutions using 3M technologies. Conducting competitive analysis.
- Contributing with insights, leading product field evaluations, developing and delivering customer training as a team member in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Creating easy to understand demo tools for sales reps and customers to show 3M product benefits and differentiation. This position will require working with customers in various settings, including customer training and trade shows.
- Authoring Digital and other training materials. Leading and influencing the industry by involvement and leadership in industry associations.

Your Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline
- Successful record of global interaction, excellent technical presentation skills, interpersonal abilities
- Strong skills in oral and written communications, complex problem identification and solution development
- Ability to work well in a team environment and able to handle changing project priorities.
- Language: Fluent in English and French. Additional European language would be a plus (Polish, Spanish, Italian).

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- Experience in tapes and adhesives technologies.
- Experience with New Product Development (NPI) and/or Engineering, working in conjunction with customers and other internal partners (cross-functional teams).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab or Statistical Analysis tools.
- Successful track record working with all levels within the organization, as well as external customer and supplier organizations.
