The HRD France is responsible for the alignment and delivery of human resources programs and services to employees and managers in France. This includes working with key internal and external stakeholders (especially both shareholders) at various levels and across cultures to ensure that all HR activities in France are performed in a professional manner and in compliance with the EK Values, the EK Code of Conduct and all regional regulations and laws. The HRD will be an engaging business partner that is able to coach managers, develop teams and cultivate a work environment of agility, growth and innovation.

He/she will report directly to the EK Industrial Director and indirectly to the Director of Global Talent & Leadership (located in the US). With their support, this position will gain a deep understanding of the organization and be able to create the appropriate employee value proposition for France that attracts and retains a thriving pipeline of talent that will be the future leaders of the company.

EK employs ca. 700 employees in France, for a turnover of ca. 150 M€.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Set the Human Resources business unit objectives + KPI’s for the 2 French plants
- Manage all employment and legal compliance topics for France
- Set the labor relations strategy for France and lead negotiations with the Plant Manager
- Organize and coordinate the compensation practices for France and ensure alignment with the group guidelines and budget targets
- Lead the talent initiatives in France which includes Staffing Forecasts, Recruiting & Retention, Training & Development Programs and Succession Planning
- Drive active two-way communication within the HR Group and the French plants to provide regular project status updates and on-time reporting requirements
- Foster a work environment that celebrates and rewards employee engagement, implements modern day business practices and promotes the need to implement sustainable processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Formal University Degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resources and/or Employment Law

Strong business acumen and knowledge of all HR functions gained from working preferably in a multinational company and is familiar with a matrix organization

Minimum of 8 years in a leadership role with professional knowledge of French Labor Law, Social Insurances, Union Relations and Retirement Systems

Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills (fluent in English and French)
