**Adaptation Buyer,**

Typically, on adaptation parts, the business model for high volume production does not fit with the business we operate. The challenge is then to structure your segment and operate the business in the way which is efficient for the time to market and in that way, bring high value and innovative solutions to the end customers

You will have near colleagues working spread across Europe and work in different networks, teams and groups. You will be part of the Adaptation Parts team, daily work in a dynamic and integrated European team located in Gothenburg and Lyon and become a key player in the Special Vehicle community.
Uptime & Adaptation is a department within Group Trucks Purchasing (GTP) who support Service Parts Purchasing, Vehicle Adaptation Purchasing and aim at delivering solutions to our customers with a more competitive time to market.

**This is your mission**

You will be leading the purchasing activities on your Special Vehicle scope with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the customers maximum satisfaction.
That means that you will secure delivery of the projects you will lead within more challenging planning than regular production vehicle project; scout and seek for the best suppliers plus bring creative and innovative solutions. You will have the challenge, source and create the ad hoc supplier base. You will also lead the negotiations and in order to secure the best QDCF-TSR performance and perform purchasing activities related to ordering, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers. In order to deliver on your scope you will have quicker processes and more autonomy to impact your scope.
Your work will directly affect our customers satisfaction through your contribution to the flag-products of our truck brands: Limited truck editions and special vehicles.

**We also believe that you have**:

- Master degree in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 3 years’ experience of buyer experience, automotive is a plus
- Experience in project and sourcing management
- High effective written and verbal communication (English)
- Strong analytical skills
- Perseverance, energy and a drive to improve
- Extensive experience negotiating and interacting with suppliers
- Willingness to travel from occasionally to frequently based on ongoing activities
