Junior Data Engineer Intern

As an intern, you will contribute to preparing and structuring large, real-world multimodal datasets within SOPHiA GENETICS Data Hub. These datasets will be crucial for advanced statistical analysis and multimodal modeling in oncology research, helping to drive impactful clinical insights.
**You will be involved in**:
- Preparing and harmonising multicentric oncology cohorts, ensuring data consistency for research use.
- Selecting key variables and perform basic statistical exploration of datasets.
- Structuring and integrating multimodal data (clinical and imaging) into SOPHiA GENETICS Data Hub for advanced analysis.
- Collaboration with various teams to ensure the smooth flow and availability of harmonized datasets for research.
**Requirements**:
**The experience you bring**:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Biostatistics.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively.
- A team player who collaborates well with others, while also able to work independently when necessary.
