We bring a wide range of operational, financial and performance improvement services to leading private equity houses, their portfolio companies and multi-national corporations.

The A&M Restructuring team has focused on big ticket company side financial restructuring and CRO appointments and we have delivered on some of the largest European restructuring cases such as Abengoa, Edcon, Intertoys and Isolux. A&M is one of the fastest growing Advisory firms in France and we have worked on some of the largest cross-border corporate restructuring and transformation projects in the French marketplace.

Specifically, the Senior Director will:

- Contribute to the growth of the French Restructuring team by executing the vision and direction for the continued build out of the practice;
- Be an expert in selling and delivering advisory in addition to interim assignments;
- Coordinate broader A&M service lines to further develop our service offerings including Transactions Advisory, Corporate Transformation and Private Equity Performance Improvement;
- Grow our practice through strengthening our French business, broadening out our routes to market, leveraging senior relationships in the Lending and Restructuring communities and working with our European partnership group;
- Lead delivery of projects with companies in financial/liquidity crisis to assess opportunities to improve their financial /operating performance and implement findings and recommendations.

- Financial and Operational Restructuring
- Debtor Restructuring
- Balance Sheet Restructuring
- Asset Sales
- Cash & liquidity management and forecasting
- Cross-border wind-downs
- Preparation and validation of business plans for company management teams
- Independent business reviews
- Short term cash flow forecasting frameworks
- Stakeholder reporting on PMO cost saving initiatives

**CORE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrable and successful experience within a Lender advisory, Debtor advisory or Financial Restructuring professional services team;
- A significant and well-developed network across the French lender / business leader communities;
- Proven track record of delivering restructuring projects;
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders within both lenders and corporates in challenging situations;
- Proven people and function leadership skills through a partner/matrix community, partnering across multiple departments and services lines;
- Clear determination to deliver the latest thinking in stressed and distressed corporate solutions;
- Ability and right to work & travel within the EU without restriction to client sites, at short notice as required;
- Native French and fluency in English is essential. Additional European languages are highly desirable;
- A high grade Bachelor’s degree from a top “Grande Ecole” university is essential + MBA preferred.

Ideally, a Senior Director will also be able to successfully identify client needs and win client trust. Ultimately, the successful appointee will be recognized by the client as the lead for value contributed on engagements and therefore build his/her own credible network of contacts and referral sources with clients, professionals and institutions.
