As a member of the Local Business Management Teams, the HR Manager is accountable for the overall HR contribution and day to day HR service delivery. The HR Manager ensures and assures local compliance and the effective transition of Company guidelines and represents the company in the area of responsibility as role model and as a great place to work. Furthermore, the HR Manager applies HR policies defined by the company, including Labor Relations.
Main Accountabilities
Strategy Alignment
- Implements HR priorities in the countries in line with the HR and People Strategy, covering culture, people, and organization, utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or providing new solutions where appropriate
HR Business Solutions
- Partners with managers and employees to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies
- Coaches and advises Managers and employees on the most effective solutions to resolve issues
- Acts as consultant, sparring partner, coach, and facilitator to business leaders
- Accountable for the local HR function locally
Talent management and development
- Implements the respective talent management and people development initiatives locally
- Supports line managers to implement and maintain performance management activities, including poor performance improvement, employee discussion, annual or midpoint reviews, training need identification, termination etc.
- Partners with business leaders to determine the strategical learning and development approach in their area of responsibilities (e.g. learning requirements, customized and local training)
- Monitors different employee indicators (e.g turnover data) and puts measures in place to support the achievement of optimal levels of attrition across the sites
Talent acquisition
- Partners with Hiring Managers on end-to-end recruitment activities for selected roles
- Supports local leaders in capability & workforce planning
- Prepares job offers, updates employment terms and conditions
Compensation & Benefits
- Represents the requirements of countries and transfers global guidelines
- Responsible for country specific allowances, perks, benefits (insured/non-insured) and pension
- Supports smooth processing of annual compensation cycle activities in the assigned Area/Region
Employer Branding
- Follows the Employer Branding guidelines, ensures that the employer is well represented in the local targeted labor market
- Responsible for all HR related communication locally
Labor Relations
- Creates and maintains the local Employee handbook and country HR policies, ensures compliance as employer according to legal local requirements
- Liaises with employee representatives when needed, supports CBA negotiations, follows through on related obligations
HR Operational Excellence (OpEx)
- Ensures that local policies are in place, regularly reviewed and communicated to the employees and the HR related policies are followed and adhered to
- Oversees the implementation of all HR processes at the location, ensuring compliance with Group and Country policy and guidelines
- Monitors relevant local statutory or regulatory requirements and acts accordingly
- Accountable for the correctness of the Employee Masterdata, encourages employees and managers to use Self Service possibilities, including interfaces to third party HR providers (outsourced Services).
- Supports continuous improvement of processes that lead to extraordinary customer experience
- Provides generalist HR advice and support, answers HR tickets as defined
- Ensures that local payroll and HR admin tasks are completed, including the approval of the payroll file
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Strong result driven, excellent in dealing with details, highly structured
- Min. 7 years of experiences in human resources on all aspects
- Good communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and organization skills, self-driven, business acumen,
- Can-do attitude, willing to go extra miles
- A strong team player
- A trustworthy person of integrity.
- Good language ability in English, any other local language is a plus.
