We empower creators to transform and stylize any video - from live-action films to 3D animations - into any aesthetic, seamlessly blending cutting-edge AI with human creativity from concept to final cut.

Founded by veterans from creative industries, Mago is not just changing how videos look, but how they're made. Our software streamlines, simplifies and accelerates non-realistic production workflows, dramatically cutting costs for stylized content in animation, film, game cinematics, advertising and more.

Mago is currently looking for a talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our team and help build the foundation of our innovative video stylization / AI rendering technology.

Tasks
  • Drive excellent user experience, continually improving functionality, usability, and simplicity
  • Implement, update, and maintain features and user interfaces for our video processing and AI rendering tool
  • Integrate and automate frontend tests (including end-to-end tests) and add logging and monitoring to the frontend stack
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to other team members
  • Collaborate with Backend and ML teams to deliver compelling user-facing products
  • Design efficient and reusable frontend systems that power complex web applications
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Work cross-functionally to define problems, collect data, build analytical models, and develop highly scalable solutions
  • Work closely with UX/UI to ensure seamless integration of designs
  • Help build and maintain a well-documented Design System
Requirements

🔎 What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Frontend Engineering
  • Strong proficiency in React (Hooks, Suspense, etc.)
  • Ability to carry a frontend testing strategy
  • Strong skills in integrating APIs, caching, and state management
  • Proficiency in frontend optimizations and performance tuning
  • Ability to work on complex interactive interfaces
  • B2 level minimum in English (intermediate)

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience working with video editing software or 3D animation tools
  • Knowledge of film production and 3D animation DCC (Unreal Engine, Blender, After Effects…)
  • Familiarity with Stable Diffusion and AI-driven image/video generation
  • Knowledge of backend languages
